A friend let me borrow a copy of the Shack, but I didn&#039;t get past the first 2 or 3 chapters.  For some reason the beginning turned me off a lil bit.  I didn&#039;t really get into it, and ended up giving the book back to her.  ]It seemed like a sluggish start...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Since then, I stumbled on a couple videos of the author explaining his motivation for writing it.  The message is cool...so I may have another crack at it...</description>

		<description>Personally, I hated the shack. First book I&#039;ve ever been given that I flipped through and put into a trash can. Everyone raves about it though.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I can&#039;t stand posers either. When I was younger I formed a very bad habit of lying about myself to get people to like me. This eventually became habitual until I found myself with no friends.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I began to realize that we all pose at some level to mask the areas where we have been hurt in the past.</description>
