If you’ve ever been accused of being a mild hoarder…borderline hoader…hoarder in trading…or just a hoarder in denial…but just don’t quite feel convinced…Here are a few indicators that might help you see the light…or just make you angry…
You Might Be A Mild Hoarder If…
- If you have a floppy disk from the 1980′s.
- If you have to turn into a contortionist just to retrieve something from your garage.
- If you inspire in those you love…the intense urge to secretly throw away some of your things…knowing good and well…you will never miss it….I’m just saying…you just might be a boarderline hoarder.
- If people start to murmur unintelligibly…when you ask for just a “LIL” help moving…they are on to you.
- If all you can see is how much you spent on something…and not the more important fact that it’s NOT being used…then…you might have a few hoarding tendencies.
- If you still have boxes and bags unopened from the last move, and price tags on things….you probably a few hoarding tendencies.
- If your secret weapon against these mild hoarding allegations is…the glistening idea that you will finally do that garage sale…well…you might get around to it…but it still means, as of right now, you’re on the slippery slope to hoarding-dom.
- If you just can’t fathom why anyone would use the word minimalism in their vocabulary…far less for actually living that way…then you just might be on your way to becoming a hoarder.
- If you have any electronic device that really doesn’t work, but due to it’s share size and weight, you find it hard to lug it out to the trash or give it away…then…smh…
- If you avoid opening your freezer, because you’re not sure if some frost filled zip-lock bag might fly/fall out…then maybe it’s time for that extra freezer…right? WRONG…You’re definitely a hoarder in training…or pretty close. Time to let somethings go homie!
Listen…I had a garage full of things once…so this is all in fun…It’s inspired by me observing myself and others around me. I don’t know any real hoaders, but just a lot of people who just keep too much crap!
Now for me…I’ve replaced my garage full of stuff with a new addiction…throwing stuff away…If you need my services, please feel free to email me. It will cost you, but chances are, much less than collecting unused/underused stuff is costing you right now. Peace…
